Comments		The NSW Jewish Board of Deputies is the elected representative body of the Jewish community of NSW. Their core aim is to strengthen the social fabric of New South Wales, an aim commensurate with a core aim of Rotary The Board offers a speaker service to clubs keen to host stimulating discussions of current events. They are able to present on topics including The Jewish experience in Australia, Israel and the Middle East, The Holocaust and many others. The aim of these presentations is to promote a deeper and more nuanced understanding of complex issues, and to engender social harmony on a local and international scale. The NSW Jewish Board of Deputies has been doing presentations to Rotary clubs for at least 25 years and have always had extremely positive feedback and requests for return engagements. Comments		Jeremy will be in Sydney again 20-28 October 2016 and is keen to present to your club. His presentation is a personal story about Jeremy’s journey from life saving open heart surgery as a child through to being an adult who spent over 2 1/2 years, cycling 52,000km around the planet.  It’s both entertaining and inspirational, the images from around the world are absolutely stunning and my story will highlight what anyone can achieve with an adventurous spirit, a little self belief and the courage to take that first step into the unknown; no matter what their goal or dream. Throughout this journey Jeremy helped support the Australian, New Zealand and British Heart Foundations and continues to do so through the sale of his book ‘The Long Road From a Broken Heart’. In 2015 Jeremy presented at the District Conferences for D9630 and D9800.  He recently was a guest speaker at the Rotary Club of Crows Nest.  By all accounts his presentations were very successful.
